No charges will be laid over the fatal police shooting of Kaoss Price in April last year

No charges will be laid over the fatal police shooting of Kaoss Price in April last year

Officers pulled over Price's associate driving a car on State Highway 3, between New Plymouth and Waitara.

Price was driving another car, and did a U-turn, and rammed into the police car.

He was shot as he attempted to carjack another vehicle.

The father of three was unarmed and no weapons were recovered at the scene.

An investigation has found the force used by officers was 'legally justified' - and there is no criminal liability for their actions.
