    A 23-year-old man who raped a Blenheim schoolgirl has been named as Steven Tari Tambean Garae


    The seasonal worker from Vanuatu pleaded guilty last week to rape and unlawful sexual connection over the April attack.

    Open Justice reports the victim was out riding her bike, and pulled into a public toilet and raped.

    Garae will be sentenced in October.
