    Moana Pasifika CEO Pelenato Sakalia is defending the team's decision to shift their base to North Harbour Stadium ahead of the 2024 Super Rugby season


    After spending their first two seasons at Mt Smart - the franchise have opted for a change of scenery during the off-season.

    Sakalia says it's important they have appropriate facilities for a professional rugby team.



    Moana Pasifika have announced five locations for their home games next season - including Mt Smart, North Harbour Stadium and Whangarei.
