Belief safety changes are needed for farming vehicles following three quad bike deaths in just one week

Safer Farms is urging farmers to look at how they can reduce the risk of quad bike fatalities following the trio of tragedies.

Chair Lindy Nelson says they want people to have those tough conversations.

She says unlike how many farmers think, experience doesn't equal safety.

Nelson says there are longer term solutions, including putting as much effort into failsafe features on farm vehicles as we do for road vehicles.
