Confirmation New Zealand athlete Braden Currie has successfully secured his qualification for the Ironman World Championships 70.3 to be held in Taupo next year

Confirmation New Zealand athlete Braden Currie has successfully secured his qualification for the Ironman World Championships 70.3 to be held in Taupo next year

Despite being a last-minute entrant and underprepared for this year's Taupo 70.3 race, Currie's fourth place finish guaranteed qualification.

Currie plans to take some well-deserved downtime before turning his focus to Ironman New Zealand in March.
