    Highlanders fans' hopes will be high, heading into the Super Rugby Pacific season, following Friday's dominant 41-14 victory over the Crusaders at Methven


    While it's only pre-season, the faithful will take plenty from it, after Clarke Dermody's winning record in trial games this year.

    Coaching great Sir Wayne Smith has revealed what he told Dermody about building a strong team culture.

    "The Professor" says the Highlanders head coach and assistant Dave Dillon met with him over a meal and coffee in Waihi.
