Police are reminding people not to drink and drive after a woman was found more than five times over the legal breath alcohol limit

Police are reminding people not to drink and drive after a woman was found more than five times over the legal breath alcohol limit

    Ava Whitworth reports...

    ---

The 48-year-old's been charged after her erratic driving concerned multiple motorists on her journey from New Plymouth to Rotorua.

Police say those who reported the driver likely saved lives.

They say they can't stress enough that if you're drinking, not to get behind the wheel.

They'll be patrolling roads across this weekend with a large focus on unsafe behaviour, such as speeding and drivers seeming impaired.
