Police are appealing for information after an attempted ram raid in Wellington yesterday, left a stolen car stuck in a dairy's shop-front

They're investigating the theft of three cars from Lyall Bay, Brooklyn and Palmerston North - two of which have already been recovered.

Nothing was stolen yesterday morning, as the offenders fled on foot when the stolen Toyota Caldina became wedged in the Newtown shop.
