Canterbury have cruised into the final four of the NPC after a record-breaking 62-14 win over Tasman in their quarterfinal in Blenheim

Canterbury have cruised into the final four of the NPC after a record-breaking 62-14 win over Tasman in their quarterfinal in Blenheim

It's the Mako's largest margin of defeat in an NPC contest, and the most points they've conceded in a game.

Canterbury skipper Billy Harmon points to Tasman's storm week - where the team played three games in eight days leading up to the playoffs - as a key factor behind the result, on Sky Sport.

The semi-finals will see Bay of Plenty host Canterbury in Tauranga, and Wellington taking on Waikato in the capital.
