    A man's been charged in his hospital bed with murder - after a woman's death in a daytime shooting in Whangarei


    Yvonne Chapman died at Onerahi's Beach Road Reserve on Thursday morning.

    A 63-year-old man remains under Police guard at Auckland Hospital, with serious injuries.

    He's been remanded in custody - to appear in the Whangarei District Court on March 21.
