Pregnant Jesy Nelson "can't leave hospital" just yet

The 33-year-old pop star is expecting twins with her partner Zion Foster but recently had to deal with Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, a rare condition that causes an imbalance of blood flow, and has now shared a positive update

Speaking in a video posted to Instagram on Mothering Sunday (30.03.25), she said: "Hi guys, so we just wanted to give you an update because we know it's been a while. First of all we want to say a Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing and strong mums out there. And secondly, we are still in hospital, so I've been recovering.

"But, we have some amazing news. TTTS has cleared up, the operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible.

"We are so, so, lucky to have the most amazing doctors. Basically, the situation that we're in now is my cervix is very, very, short, so I can't leave the hospital because my waters could break at any point and I'm still very, very, early."

The former Little Mix singer explained that it is too early for her to leave hospital and she needs to wait until further on in the pregnancy but is just "so grateful" that things are now looking positive.

She said: "So, yeah, I can't leave the hospital til I'm a certain amount of weeks so every week we're like 'Please, please please, stay in there'. We're just grateful that they're still here, they're still going strong. So grateful."

Earlier this month, Jesy explained to her followers that she had been feeling ill and had been struggling to breathe, so she had to undergo a procedure to give her babies the "best chance" of survival.

She said: "Hey guys, so we are just giving you an update on our situation. So I've been feeling a bit poorly like the past few days. Been having a few of the symptoms that I need to watch out for - which is like my belly tightening, struggle breathing. So today we came into the hospital to just have a check-up basically. Just in case. And unfortunately the symptoms have got worse so we now have to have ... they have to perform the procedure, which is obviously not what we wanted to happen.

"But it's necessary because it's gonna give our babies like the best chance of surviving. So yeah, we're just waiting to go in. And we're just hoping and praying for the best really. I feel gutted. I feel absolutely gutted because I really was hoping that we wouldn't even be in this position."
