After a strong start, today's Maori All Blacks-Scotland match in Whangarei isn't going the way of the hosts

The Maori scored in the first minute but it's the Scots who led 24-12 at halftime ... scoring their third try just before the break, despite a yellow card.

The Maori have now had two of their own men sent to the sin bin since the resumption of play ... both teams have scored another try ... Scotland lead 29-19 approaching the hour mark.

Earlier at the same Northland stadium, the Black Ferns thrashed the Black Ferns XV 45-12 in their trial match.
