    A 21-year-old killer who escaped with a cast on his arm - during a doctor's visit - has been found after nearly two days on the run


    At 14, Haami Hanara knifed a homeless man to death in 2018.

    His murder conviction was quashed - and he later admitted to manslaughter.

    Most recently, he was on remand at Hawke's Bay Regional Prison - and fled after being taken a local Health Centre on Saturday.

    He's been found in Hastings' Fernhill this afternoon - and his escape will be reviewed.
