    Teen rapist Jayden Meyer's been found guilty of sexually violating another teenage girl hours after being released on bail


    Open Justice reports the latest violation occurred when he was 16, after he'd been bailed on charges relating to the rape and sexual violation of five girls, for which he was later convicted.

    A police summary of facts says he was arrested at 5pm on June 18th, 2021.

    He was released into his father's custody that same night, and just before midnight, sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at his father's home.

    The now 21-year-old was on trial in front of a jury in the Tauranga District Court this week.

    He's been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing next year.
