    Stormy weather's forecasted to keep battering Northland and Auckland until later tonight


    MetService has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the two regions, that's expected to lift by 10pm.

    Central Auckland, Waitakere, and Franklin are being warned of stronger weather, which moves southwards from Pukekohe this evening.

    They say driving conditions will be hazardous due to surface flooding and poor visibility.
