    Wing trimmer Jason Saunders is taking the silver linings out of a penalty-impacted second race at the latest SailGP regatta in Taranto , Italy


    After a third in the first race, New Zealand got off the line quickly in the second, only to be penalised for going too early.

    They ended up finishing eighth.

    Saunders says looking back at the replay, there was no more than a metre in it.



    New Zeland came fifth in the third race.
