One of the favourites in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race has been forced to retire from the annual regatta

One of the favourites in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race has been forced to retire from the annual regatta

Super maxi Comanche was leading the race off the far south coast of New South Wales, when they announced they were pulling out due to mainsail damage.

They're one of seven retirements from the race from the initial fleet of 104.

Reigning line honours champion LawConnect is the new leader.
