American Magic have added one of the world's best sailors to their team for the next edition of the America's Cup

American Magic have added one of the world's best sailors to their team for the next edition of the America's Cup

Australian Tom Slingsby - an America's Cup winner with Oracle in 2013 - has decided to link up with the current American syndicate for the 2024 series in Barcelona.

Slingsby was named the 2021 World Sailor of the Year and won a gold medal in 2012.

He also holds dual citizenship with the United States and Australia, ensuring he helps meet the nationality rules under the protocol for the 37th edition.
