The end to an on-water sailing chapter for Australian great Jimmy Spithill

The end to an on-water sailing chapter for Australian great Jimmy Spithill

New Zealand has beaten Australia in a photo finish at the Sail GP event off the coast of Dubai - denying the three-time defending champions a first victory of the fourth season.

Spithill had subbed in with compatriot Tom Slingsby on paternity leave.

The 44-year-old has a new focus for the competition's fifth season.
