    Alinghi are back in the mix for the next America's Cup


    The Swiss syndicate have been confirmed for the 2027 regatta in Naples alongside Luna Rossa and French team K-Challenge.

    The three outfits join defender Team New Zealand and British challenger of record Athena Racing.

    Confirmation of Alinghi's participation comes after they announced in April that they were winding down operations and would not take part.

    The five teams will all be part of the new America's Cup Partnership - which notable has them in agreement on the event moving to a two-year cycle
