    A 44 year old will appear in court after allegedly abducting a baby in a family violence incident that sparked a 24 hour standoff with police


    Police had been negotiating with an armed man on Park Terrace in Blenheim on Friday, before he was arrested yesterday.

    The baby was not hurt.

    The man faces numerous charges including threatening to kill and is due to appear in court tomorrow.
