Screened wastewater's been spewing off the coast of Wellington's Lyall Bay

Screened wastewater's been spewing off the coast of Wellington's Lyall Bay

Wellington Water is warning the water may appear cloudy or murky - and may have a certain odour.

It says high rainfall within the Moa Point Treatment Plant catchment has caused this to happen.

People are advised to stay out of the water for two to three days, after heavy rainfall. 01-01-25 1354
