Northern Brave opener Katene Clarke has scored his maiden Super Smash century to help his side claim a eight-run win over the Otago Volts in Dunedin

Northern Brave opener Katene Clarke has scored his maiden Super Smash century to help his side claim a eight-run win over the Otago Volts in Dunedin

Clarke smashed 106 off just 65 balls as part of a 194-run first-wicket partnership with Joe Carter - New Zealand's second-highest T20 domestic partnership - to help the Brave reach 212 for two.

In reply Otago finished 204 for eight.

Despite the loss, the Volts remain top of the standings.
