A homicide investigation continues in Christchurch, following the death of a man at a social housing complex

A homicide investigation continues in Christchurch, following the death of a man at a social housing complex

Police were called to Mairehau's Innes Road, just after 9pm on Sunday.

A man was found with critical injuries and died at the Innes Courts unit, despite immediate treatment.

Detective Senior Segeant Damon Wells says they've spoken to a number of people in the area at time - and want anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to come forward.

The community may notice an increased Police presence as they conduct enquiries.
