    Police have confirmed an adult man was killed when hit by a train yesterday - at Invercargill's Elles Road level crossing


    Inspector Stu Harvey says police are still working on the formal identification process.

    A 13-year-old school student was also fatally struck by a train last week - in Waikato's Matamata.
