Search efforts continue for a tramper who's been missing in Milford Sound since Sunday

The solo tramper failed to return after a planned day trip to climb Mitre Peak.

Detective Tracy Ward says about 60 volunteers, 10 Police staff and helicopter crews are involved in the search.

She says they're feeling positive as the man they're looking for is experienced in the outdoors and had suitable clothing and provisions

Ward says Police still want to hear from anyone who was in the area on Sunday.
