58-year-old Dion Raymond Kainamu was found injured near the intersection of Tango Place and Larnoch Road early on Sunday, and died at the scene.

Police arrested a 47-year-old woman in West Auckland that afternoon, who'll reappear in court in a month.

She faced charges of failing to stop or ascertain injury and two counts of driving disqualified.
