New Zealand have thrashed the West Indies by nine wickets in the second cricket test at Wellington

New Zealand have thrashed the West Indies by nine wickets in the second cricket test at Wellington

The Black Caps take a 1-nil lead in the three-test series ... the final test starts next Thursday at Mount Maunganui.

Still no sign of a return to action for injured All Whites captain Chris Wood.

The veteran striker didn't feature yet again for Nottingham Forest, as his English side claimed a third Europa League victory this season.

Kiwi golf great Dame Lydia Ko starts her last tournament of 20-25 tomorrow, teaming up with Australian Jason Day for a third consecutive year at the Grant Thornton Invitational pairs event in Florida.

And New Zealand's Haupai Puha kicks off his third World Darts Championship campaign tonight, at the Alexandra Palace in London.
