More than four million dollars worth of the stupefying drug Fantasy has been seized from a storage container in Wairarapa

It follows members of the public reporting suspicious behaviour at a Featherston storage facility.

Police discovered 820 litres of the drug on Monday night - after noticing a strong chemical smell near the container.

A 35-year-old woman from Tawa and a 39-year-old man from Porirua have been charged with possession for supply.

They've been remanded in custody and will reappear in Porirua District Court on Tuesday.
