Two men have been arrested and charged, over a robbery at a west Auckland construction site

Police say they received a report about 2.30am about a vehicle being driven through gates at the Hobsonville Road site, and tools and petrol being stolen.

They say officers tracked down two vehicles suspected to be involved with the robbery, leading to the arrest of two men in their 30s.

Both men have been charged with burglary and are due to appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
