    Antonio Shalfoon's determined to take another step up as the Crusaders senior lock - ahead of tomorrow's Super Rugby season opener against the Highlanders in Dunedin


    The 28-year-old starting 13 games last year - including the final- and proved to be an unsung hero.

    The Crusaders will be without Scott Barrett for the bulk of the campaign, while Quinten Strange has moved on to Japan.
