An Auckland man is calling for help finding an alleged road rage attacker after saying he was pulled from his van, knocked out and stomped on

20-year-old Raees Ali was left with a fractured jawbone, severe facial bruising, and also lost teeth - in Papakura on Friday evening.

He alleges the driver of a silver Toyota Land Cruiser Prado became agitated and started following him for several streets, after he merged onto Beach Road.

Ali claims the driver came to a stop at the Opaheke Road railway crossing, approached his van - and pulled him out of the driver's seat, allegedly knocking him unconscious.

The man then reportedly drove away - after Ali's wife, who was in the van, started taking photos of his vehicle.
