Aucklanders are set to wait longer to find out their home's new council valuation

Aucklanders are set to wait longer to find out their home's new council valuation

Revaluation's been delayed for the second time - because of Covid-19.

Council CVs can affect the prices homes sell for, as well as the rates bill.

They're sent to home and property owners every three years, and were originally due to be released last year.

Due to the pandemic, that was delayed until next month.

But, with Auckland back at Alert Level Four -- the dates have been pushed back until December.

The council says lockdown affects the ability to do onsite audits of values.
