Four people, three 18 or under, have been arrested for an aggravated robbery in Hamilton on Tuesday

Four people, three 18 or under, have been arrested for an aggravated robbery in Hamilton on Tuesday

A member of the public was assaulted trying to stop the alleged offenders tinkering with a vehicle in a supermarket carpark.

They then drove a car into another person who intervened, before beating them as they lay on the ground with leg injuries.

Police located and chased the vehicle yesterday, using spikes to stop it near Pukekohe.

The group are due to appear in Hamilton Youth and District Courts today.
