    The wreckage of what is understood to be a home built helicopter, has been removed following a crash at Uretiti Beach in Northland


    Emergency services - who were called just after midday - say they were surprised the passenger and pilot were able to walk away.

    They were transported to Northland Base Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
