    A chaotic Friday boy racer meeting in Levin and Palmerston North, has prompted calls for quicker, and stricter, punishments


    Police made 10 arrests as officers faced physical attacks from a crowd of about 1000 people.

    Another five pedestrians were injured - including a teenage girl who had her legs run over.

    Mayor Bernie Wanden, says the Government's already indicated the infringement fees and fines will be increased substantially.

    He says the sooner it happens the better.
