The Breakers guard's since been ruled out for the ANBL season - replaced by fellow Kiwi Tai Webster, who's had two previous stints with the club.

Tall Blacks head coach - and Breakers assistant - Judd Flavell says the injury flew under the radar.

Forward Max Darling will be out for six weeks following surgery for a fractured eye socket.
