Police are calling for help in their Hamilton homicide investigation

Emergency services were called to a Lake Crescent address just after six last night.

A person died at the scene - a second is in a stable condition in hospital.

Detective Inspector Daryl Smith says cordons are in place at the house and a yacht club toilet block several hundred metres away

He says scene examinations are taking place at both locations because it's believed those involved travelled between them on foot.
