Christchurch is rolling out the welcome mat for Australian visitors

Christchurch is rolling out the welcome mat for Australian visitors

ChristchurchNZ's new campaign, Made For It, puts the spotlight on the city's upgraded infrastructure and a busy event calendar, aiming to lure travellers from Australia's east coast.

Marketing General Manager, Steve Backe-Hansen says attracting more Aussies has long been a top priority.

He says it's also a priority for Central Government - as they've received 500-thousand dollars from the Events Boost Fund to target this market.
