    Police say their thoughts are with the family and friends, of two people recovered from a helicopter crash north of Wellington yesterday, at Paekakariki


    A pilot and sole passenger were found after a long search through dense bush.

    Police can't yet formally confirm their identities.

    Scene examinations are ongoing with cordons remaining at Battle Hill campground.
