    A 26 year old will face court after allegedly trying to steal a necklace worth more than 70 thousand dollars from Auckland's CBD

    A 26 year old will face court after allegedly trying to steal a necklace worth more than 70 thousand dollars from Auckland's CBD


    The woman allegedly entered the store holding a metal pole before plucking the necklace from its display.

    Staff challenged her and she then allegedly smashed a 20 thousand dollar cabinet before being taken into police custody.

    She'll appear in court next month on a variety of charges.
