    A return to a familiar course where he has performed well has New Zealand golfer Ryan Fox confident he can expunge memories of his disastrous second round at the US Open


    Fox carded a 15 over par second round at Winged Foot on Saturday and has flown to Northern Ireland for the Irish Open starting this evening.

    He won on the course in a European Challenge Tour event four years ago and that gives him confidence.
