    The kiwi has carded a bogey free round 66, leaving him at six under par, four shots off the lead.

    Fox says the long holes was where he thrived..



    Lydia Ko is remaining in contention on day one of the PGA Championship in Maryland.

    She's even par through 12 holes, eight shots behind South Korea's In Gee Chun.
