    The Aucklander's tied for 83rd, eight shots back of US clubhouse leader Wyndham Clark, after carding four bogeys and three birdies at the TPC Scottsdale course.

    Veteran Waikato golfer Steve Alker's tied for the lead after the first day of the latest Champions Tour tournament in Morocco.

    Alker posted a four-under par 69 opening round ... he shares the one-shot lead with Englishman Simon Griffiths.
