    Kiwi golfer Daniel Hillier is relishing being among the contenders at the European Tour's season-ending tournament in Dubai


    He's in a five-way tie for second at the halfway stage at nine-under overall - three shots off the pace.

    Hillier's enjoying challenging for the top prize.



    The 27-year-old's current placing would earn him a spot on the PGA Tour next season - joining compatriot Ryan Fox.

    Hillier tees off his third round at 9.20pm, with Kazuma Kobori under way at 7.45pm.
