    Kane Follows has lit up the pool on night four at the New Zealand Swimming Champs in Hastings


    The backstroke specialist has scorched to a Olympic qualification time in the 200 metre final - his time of 1 minute 57.13 seconds also breaking a 12-year-old national record.

    Follows finished a-second-and-a-half clear of Lewis Clareburt - who later picked up another national title in the 200 metres butterfly.
