The fastest SailGP team on water is off the market ahead of this weekend's regatta in Auckland

The global foiling competition has confirmed the Danish entry, Rockwool Racing, have new owners.

American Magic and US businessman Doug DeVos have taken over, paying 99 million dollars to acquire the team.

Only two entries remain league-owned, with Spain and New Zealand yet to move into a private ownership model.

Meanwhile, SailGP boss Sir Russell Coutts has recommended an ideal place for fans to sit when racing starts on the Waitemata Harbour tomorrow.
