A fire has ripped through the RSA building in west Auckland's Piha

Video shows holidaymakers watching on as the fire engulfed part of the building after 11.30 last night.

Fire and Emergency says five fire trucks, one ladder truck, two support vehicles and one command unit responded.

A fire investigator is due at the scene today.
