    A man's critically injured after an altercation outside a music event at Auckland's Trusts Arena


    Police say a man became aggressive after being denied entry to the venue just before 9 last night - he was then confronted by another person, who allegedly hit him.

    The victim is in a stable condition in hospital.

    A 34-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to injure, and is due in the Waitakere District Court on Wednesday.
