    An Air New Zealand flight from Christchurch to Auckland has been forced to turn around due to a hydraulic system issue identified shortly after takeoff

    An Air New Zealand flight from Christchurch to Auckland has been forced to turn around due to a hydraulic system issue identified shortly after takeoff


    Chief Operating Officer Alex Marren says as a result it's also had to cancel the return service from Auckland to Christchurch.

    Affected customers are being rebooked on the next available flights.
